- Rental items (e.g., bikes, golf carts, kayaks) (for damage, not liability if they’re misused)
 
- Smoke damage (cleaning fees covered with proof of excessive smoking indoors)
 
- Extra cleaning fees (for severe mess beyond reasonable use—requires supporting evidence)
 
❌ Not Protected:
- Any damage caused by pets (except service animals)
 
- Authorized parties (if approved by the host, damages fall under the host’s responsibility)
 
- Loss of income (e.g., if a guest can’t stay due to damage, host-imposed fees, etc.)
 
- General wear and tear (things that naturally degrade over time like faded paint or worn carpets)

- Bed bugs & pest infestations (coverage is available but requires strong proof linking it to a specific guest)
